We welcome you to the St Vincent's & Holy Spirit Health (SVHSH) website. St Vincent's & Holy Spirit Health, a partnership between the Sisters of Charity and Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters, is a not-for-profit Health and Aged Care provider in the Darling Downs and South East Queensland, Australia.

Inspired by the vision of Mary Aikenhead and the missionary zeal of Helena Stollenwerk and Arnold Janssen, the Health Service has a tradition of over 83 years of leadership and innovation in Health and Aged Care in Queensland.

In response to the dynamic challenges in health and aged care, a Regionalised System was created and is supported through the infrastructure of the Sisters of Charity Health Service, to ensure that the mission of St Vincent's & Holy Spirit Health continues to thrive well into the 21st century.

Based on the Catholic tradition and Gospel Values, the Sisters of Charity and Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters came together in partnership to continue and strengthen the healing mission of Jesus. [1 September 2000]
